A good mother will go through great lengths to make their kid happy. Its only when you are a mother that you understand how heart breaking it is to see your child hurt. I found this article and I just had to re-post. A Pennsylvania mother made it her goal to create dolls with which children of various disabilities can identify. Her daughter Hannah has Down Syndrome and one day as she was flipping though a catalog she sadly turned to her mother and said none of theses dolls look like me. So that’s when she partnered with Karen Scott, a doll sculptor from Michigan, and in six months Hannah had a doll that she could relate to. It’s such a moving story of a mothers devotion to her daughter. Now all little girls with Down Syndrome don’t have to feel bad that the Barbie doll they play with looks nothing like them.
